About the Lawyer
Julissa Vela Ybarra is a native of New Braunfels, Texas. She earned Bachelors of Art degrees in both Psychology and Political Science from Texas A&M University - Kingsville. She earned a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University.
Julissa attended law school at Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan School of Law) and was licensed to practice law in Texas in November, 2011.
Julissa opened her own practice upon passing the bar exam and has passionately defended her clients in the areas of criminal defense, juvenile law, and personal injury.
She is a proud member of the Texas Bar College, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Assn., the Dallas Trial Lawyers Assn., the Houston Trial Lawyers Assn., and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
